The daily Instagram scroll - with its abundance of travel snaps and #OOTD posts - can grow tedious. So why not brighten up your feed with creatives dedicated to conservation and fighting for the planet!
Here are some of our favourite artists to follow on Instagram to fuel your fight for the planet, challenge you and inspire you.
Carla Drawz
In her Instagram bio Carla Scotto says she's a 'drawer of sad truths' who makes 'eco-sassy art', and we couldn't have put it better ourselves! Her colourful pictures also manage to articulate exactly what we're thinking and feeling (see post below). Almost every time they appear in my feed I have an "oh my god yes exactly!" moment and can't wait to share them.

Random piece of trivia for the day: the first Plastic was invented in 1869 by John Hyatt. Errrr... good one, John! He wanted to create a substitute for the ivory being used in billiard balls that was driving the mass slaughter of elephants for aforementioned ivory. Nawww... John, dude. Sorry. Forgive me for what I said when I was angry ππ. Those good intentions went awry when - post World War II - plastic "went viral" in day to day lives. We started using a material that last forever for functions that required minutes. My point is, the 1950s aren't so long ago. These are relatively new habits. A teeny speck on the time spectrum of humans on Planet Earth. So it reeeeally shouldn't be that hard to simply dial it back a notch. Adopt the sensible, more resourceful, less plastic habits of our grandparents. It isn't that hard. It's common sense. Here are some ideas inspired by yesteryears on how to store food without all the plastic.

mother earth, an endless cycle of rebirth! β»οΈ we belong to the soft fabric of her soil, her surging seas, sprouting jungles and forests around the globe. us tiny humans gaze up at the moon that gently controls us, our eyes blinking wide like bright blooming carnations growing out of our busy brains! πΌ our hopes, our dreams, our dilemmas all summarised in a starry sky on a clear evening. such a galactic paradise we are privy to - but we've taken our mother for granted and she is ailing in our consuming hands that glow too warm. she is weeping, her iceberg tears spilling into a delicate ocean, her flowering beauty is starting to choke in the suffocating warmthβ¦ her fate is in our hands but we keep choosing to ignore it. look around you, notice the cerulean blue of the sky, the defiant weeds through the pavement, the golden sun that sprinkles tiny freckles on your nose and warms you head to toe. gosh it's a beautiful corner of the universe to be in but we've only got one planet earth. fight for her π₯π
