Can you cut 1 Tonne of carbon pollution out of your life?
Take the challenge2016 is the year of homegrown food. Here at 1 Million Women, we're learning to flex our green thumbs.
We've been talking a lot lately about native ingredients, seasonal produce, foraging foods, and nurturing more of a connection with the food we eat. Eating local and in season means you cut down on food miles (the associated CO2 with transporting produce), you're supporting local growers and you'll be more in tune with the natural ebb and flow of our food.
If you'd like to give growing some of your own food a go then this is what you should be planting in February.
